The heavy instrument is well protected by the extremely robust steel construction of the stand. An adjustable foot end cap provides stability on uneven ground. The variable instrument support means the sousaphone stand can be adapted to all types of sousaphone. The stable metal struts are upholstered with soft rubber to protect the instrument. The stand is easy to fold compactly for transport.
